The connection between my 945 and HRM-Pro is ok and the connection between GCM with both my 945 and HRM is ok too. But I do a run activity on my watch, it notice that the connection between my watch and HRM-Pro status is If a smartphone, Garmin computer or Garmin watch are out of range, the HRM-Pro saves the workout. Though swimming is highlighted as the perfect scenario, Garmin has mentioned other sports such as ice hockey can benefit from a heart rate monitor. Garmin have addressed the problem that some people have with the battery cover with the HRM-Pro+ that has a twistable battery cover without any screws. HRM-Pro and Stryd wind compute power very differently. It is not a 1-1 replacement. On my experience I did not find garmin power a reliable replacement for Stryd. Free Member. Probably the strap is worn out. Pretty sure a Garmin strap (such as the HRM Pro Plus) gets you the most metrics with a Garmin watch vs. going with another strap. You get vertical ratio, vertical oscillation and left/right ground contact balance. Not sure if you care about those but I like having the extra data. 3. mashuto.
